Puzzle Update: Less than 100 pieces to go!

We have less than 100 pieces to complete our adoption puzzle fundraiser! (That means I get my breakfast table back soon too!) We have been blessed by the generosity of so many friends and family.  The funds raised through this puzzle have put a good size dent in our $28,000 estimated cost by the time we bring this baby boy home.  Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Camden applied for his passport!

We decided that it would be a huge opportunity to take our oldest son, Camden, with us to Ethiopia.  What an experience for him!  He is the big brother and loves little kids.  I think it will be a great memory and a time of getting to know his new baby brother!  We're excited to take him with us.

We went for his passport interview on Friday.  He should have his very own passport in a few weeks!

Puzzle Update

This week we added lots of new pieces and already have several in line to add next week!  God has been so good to us.  We are so grateful for each person that has taken the time and means to help us bring Endale home.

It's not too late to buy be apart of our puzzle!  To purchase a piece of our puzzle, click here.

Waiting for you....

The waiting is hard for the kids.  Payton has asked every time that he has prayed in the last couple of weeks that God might help Endale get here by Christmas.  He told us that he just wanted Endale to be with his family for Christmas time.  While it's not likely, it sure is possible with our God! I reminded Payton that God is taking care of Endale and is with him and that God's timing is perfect.  We just have to rest in that as we wait.

Audacious Faith

"Audacious faith is the raw material that authentic Christianity is made of.  It's the stuff that triggers ordinarily level-headed people like you and me to start living with unusual boldness...when you ask God to do the impossible, He usually instructs you to do something uncomfortable.  And inconvenient.  Salvation is free.  Obedience can be very costly."

Next Stop....Washington D.C.!

 Our International Dossier

Unfortunately, we aren't traveling to Washington D.C., but our dossier is!!  This morning Matt drove our dossier up to the Secretary of State's office in Santa Fe to get state seals on our documents.  Then, upon his return, we sent off our dossier to Washington D.C.!!!  Our dossier will be walked in by a courier to the State Department in D.C.  to authenticate our dossier.  Once that is finished the courier will take our documents to the Embassy of Ethiopia.

We're coming little buddy.   Mommy and Daddy are trying to get there as soon as we can!
