Matt and I, Christy, have been married for 15 years! I have no doubt that God knew exactly what He was doing when our paths crossed. Over the years we have sharpened each other and drawn nearer to God as a result of our relationship with each other.
We could not wait to have a family of our own; however, getting pregnant did not come easy for us. After two years of trying to conceive, we were pregnant with our firstborn son, Camden Paul. As his first birthday approached, we wanted to have more children. We tried to conceive for several months. The months turned into years. We had one glory baby that went to Jesus' arms before we could hold him. After much testing, medicine and procedures, we were told that we would never have any other children. Clearly, they do not know my God. After 4 1/2 years of trying, we were surprised to find out we were pregnant with our precious Payton. We decided that we'd just get busy (pardon the pun) right away after Payton was born to have another child. Our princess, Maylee Grace came along 22 months later. We truly feel like we are blessed beyond measure.
Now, God is adding to our family in a whole new way!
